In this episode of Power Slap, tensions run high as the competition heats up and personalities clash. The episode opens with Azael Rodriguez, one of the middleweight fighters, on a drunken rampage, ready to pick a fight with anyone and everyone in the house.
First, he attempts to throw hands with Carrese Archer, but Jesus Gaspar steps in and manages to restrain Azael before things escalate. However, it’s only a matter of time before Azael finds another target, and this time, it’s Devon Schwan. The situation quickly spirals out of control, resulting in Azael getting hit in the face with a chair.
The scene is so intense that the producers step in and remove Azael from the house, hoping that a night in a hotel room would help him sober up and calm down before things get worse.
Meanwhile, the rest of the fighters in the house decide to take matters into their own hands and get revenge on Azael. They move his mattress outside by the pool and throw some of his belongings in the water.
When Azael returns to the house, he finds his belongings scattered, and his mattress outside. He’s immediately angered by the prank and is looking for a fight. However, there’s a new player in the house, Anthony Green, whom Dana White has invited to join the competition. Azael takes the mattress that was meant for Anthony and refuses to move it, leading AyJay Hintz to intervene and give Azael an ultimatum — either give up the bed or fight.
In the meantime, we learn more about Emanuel Muniz, a middleweight fighter and former high school football star. Emanuel is fully immersed in combat sports, focusing on boxing, kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu, and has taken part in several underground sports. He hopes to find long-term success with Power Slap and has a tough fight coming up against Azael Rodriguez.
The tension in the house is palpable as everyone awaits the upcoming fight between Azael and Emanuel. In the end, Azael backs down and chooses to focus on his upcoming match, but the drama is far from over as the competition continues to heat up.
