Power Slap Expanding to 6 States

Power Slap is getting sanctioned everywhere."

Power Slap, the newest combat sport promoted by UFC president Dana White, has been gaining popularity since its debut. Despite concerns about the safety of the sport, White has been positive, stating that “Power Slap is getting sanctioned everywhere.”

While it’s true that Power Slap has been gaining traction, the statement that it is getting sanctioned everywhere is not completely accurate. While some states have indeed sanctioned Power Slap, others have not yet done so.

As of March 2023, the following states have or are looking to sanctioned Power Slap:

  1. Nevada
  2. California
  3. Texas
  4. Arizona
  5. Florida
  6. Georgia
  7. Mississippi

Despite the lack of universal sanctioning, White remains confident in the growth and acceptance of Power Slap. “We’re working with the commissions and making sure that we meet all the requirements and standards that they have,” he said in a recent interview.

White has also expressed his excitement for the future of Power Slap, citing its unique appeal to both casual and hardcore fight fans. “It’s just one of those things that people can’t stop talking about,” he said. “I think we have a real winner on our hands here.”

With the addition of more sanctioned states, it’s clear that Power Slap is on its way to becoming a staple in combat sports.
