SIX POWER SLAP COMBATANTS SUSPENDED IN NEVADA FOR NUMEROUS SUBSTANCE ABUSES!

The Nevada Athletic Commission has dropped a hammer on the athletes of Power Slap, with six fighters suspended for using banned substances including steroids and narcotics. The substance abuses were first outlined by Nevada Deputy Attorney General Joel Bekker, citing the testing of substances.

All of the suspended athletes will have to wait until resolution after full disciplinary hearings to see whether they can continue their careers.

Read on for the names of the six offenders and the substances found for each:

- T.J. Thomas: Clomiphene
- Jay Rivera: GW-1516, Sulfone, Sulfoxide
- Chris Thomas: Buprenorphine, Norbuprenorphine
- Andrew Provost: Buprenorphine, Norbuprenorphine
- Isaih Quinones: Norandrosterone, Drostanolone, Tamoxifen, Boldenone
- Frank Holland: Phentermine

Power Slap was granted approval by the Nevada Athletic Commission to promote slap fighting events, with the promotion’s headquarters located in Las Vegas. It is noteworthy that all six of the suspended fighters were from the same promotion. The commission will make sure it monitors such abuse of banned substances going forward.
